Room 641

So mom had another liter of fluids removed from her lung.  It’s an outpatient process so dad and I were able to watch. We aren’t sure why there wasn’t the same pain as last time but there wasn’t and her breathing is much improved.  Dr. Cooney suggested we admit her so that he can keep a closer watch on her while we work on reducing the water retention. We are now in room 641 where the service is the best I’ve seen yet.  The room is big and spacious they are  even bringing up a cot for dad to sleep in.

Speaking of dad he has just spent the last hour or so reminding me that the Steelers suck.  That’s my cue to go.

Glad John can stay there with Karen. I look 10 times a day a least to see updates. I walk around the house saying I can’t believe this, so I can’t imagine what you are all doing. Love and Hugs ML

Well the Steelers have not been doing toooooo well this year, but I will take them over the Browns anyday. If they loose to the Browns Thur night then John and I will become Big Time Wrestling Fans and will never watch another Steelers game again. I mean it. My John has always said BT Wrestling is the only true sport. (we don’t even watch that trash)
    but he always says that.

Steelers do stink, but I’m glad things went well for Karen tonight.

Thank God this procedure wasn’t painful to Karen. Let’s just pray this Dr. can get to the bottom of this and find a solution. Keep us posted and let us know if
Karen can receive calls any time soon!

I’m so glad Karen is in the hospital. That report from John at home was a huge red flag to get back to the hospital. Will be praying for wisdom and discernment for Dr. Terry… and the willingness to bring in other specialists if/when necessary. The more brain-storming of solutions the better. God’s love and nearness be especially present during this time of struggle. Christian love to you all.

“Ditto” what John told Jeff. Glad to hear Karen’s breathing has improved and she’s not having as much pain.
