Lots of visitors

This snowy, cold Sunday afternoon brought a load of visitors, namely our children. They have not seen Grandma for two or three weeks so it was nice for everyone to give her a hug. The younger ones did not know what to say but were happy to see her and Karen enjoyed seeing the kids too. The kids came into the room two or three at a time since the room she’s in now is so tiny. We didn’t stay very long. Karen is off her IV, off oxygen, and mainly just resting in bed as she’s still very tired. She said that earlier today she walked from one side of her room to the other then back again, and took a two hour nap after that!

The tentative plan is for her to leave the hospital tomorrow and finish recovering at home. Sounds like the final decision will be made Monday sometime. John is making the arrangements for a bed and nursing help at home.

Hallelujah! Don’t let her over do. She’s lost a lot of strength in the past couple of weeks. Build up the immune system at every chance. So good to hear good news after this long haul. Praise the name of Jesus.
