Vent Free!!

After breathing on her own for the better part of 6 hours, Karen’s stats were good enough to be extubated, woohooo! John and I were literally dancing in the hallway trying to sneak a peek through the door. They’ll let us in in a few minutes after getting her settled. So exciting! More to come…

The first words I heard from her were, “I like to move it, move it. I like to move it, move it.” It didn’t take long for her sense of humor to come back.

Thank you Jesus…we can hardly wait to hear her talk. Our God is an Awesome God. I have so many questions and wanting to talk with her.
We are so happy for all of you. I know John’s health is not the best and we pray for him all the time. Thanks to all of you for sharing your hearts
