It’s exciting to see Mom awake, but she’s trying so hard to communicate with us, and we can’t understand anything. She can’t talk, can’t write, and since none of us (well, besides Bob) know sign language, we’re out of options.
We keep telling her everything is ok and she’s getting better, but she just shakes her head “no”, and cries.
She’s made 2 minor attempts to remove the vent and “escape” from her bed.
(Don’t know where she’s planning to go, or how she expects to move, but she’s on a mission to get out of there!!)
I just want her to be comfortable, and get some rest.
Getting her off the vent will be such a huge milestone. I just hope it’s soon….
