Yeah, that’s right. Mom did stairs today!! 12 steps total – 6 down, 6 back up! Pretty big milestone, as she has hardly been able to even lift her legs into the car.
The doctor’s visit was quick and uneventful. We arrived, they drew blood, we left.
Results are expected tomorrow.
Mom’s doing well, but still very weak & tired. Continued prayer for strength and sleep are appreciated.

Go, Ruthie! Go, Ruthie!
I must admit when I arrived home from the hospital & saw that John had hired guys to construct a wheelchair ramp, I was pretty angry. I was no invalid & didn’t want to be treated as one. After I calmed down, I apologized & realized he only loves me & wanted to do what he thought I needed. I’ve been asking for it to be removed ever since, as I hated being a burden & pushing me up & down that ramp was a burden.
Yesterday when Kevin removed it, I was pleasantly surprised how easily I walked down the 6 steps. Coming home & going up them was fairly easy, just took a little more effort than going down.
Baby steps, baby steps, for which I thank the Lord each & every day.
YEA….YOU GO BABYGIRL
