Evening update

Thanks to the invention of shower seats and extended shower hoses, Mom was able to take a shower all by herself tonite!
She hasn’t been able to do that since the day she entered the hospital. (The things we take for granted!)

On a less positive note, her blood glucose levels have been pretty high for the past 2 days – ranging from 203-215mg/dl.
Please pray that she returns to a “normal” level on her own, without any insulin shots that the doctors have already ordered.

Cinnamon…1/2 teaspoon daily for …no more than that… or cinnamon capsules for reducing sugar levels..it helps…Honest…..
Also…Agave…………..it is a natural sugar …no funny taste. Looks like honey..Will not spike your sugar if you do have to have something sweet in tea or whatever…Put cinnamon in green tea…I heated low fat cottage cheese and sprinkled cinn on it with a few pecan…tasted like a cinn roll…
Honest Cinnamon..not sure that is spelled correctly.

Each morning when I wake up, I think of you, Karen, and wonder if you’ve gotten any sleep, and then wish I could pass on my sleep to you! I am thinking and praying throughout the day, and appreciate all the updates so that we know what exactly we can be praying for each day.
